Unlike their U.S. counterparts, Canadian whisky makers do not use mash bills. In Canada each type of grain is distilled separately and matured in optimal conditions for that particular spirit.
Only then are they mingled together and blended as mature whisky. This gives a very distinct flavor and taste specific to all Canadian whiskey blends.
The same is true of the Royal Canadian Blended Whiskey making it one of the favorite whiskeys in Canada as well as the northern part of America.
